The votes are in - and UK ICOM partner Golley Slater has chosen Lia's Wings as their charity partner for 2024, following an enthusiastic outpour of support by their network of clients, suppliers, colleagues, and friends.
Lia's Wings, founded in 2010, transports critically-ill children to hospitals via aeroplane to ensure they receive the specialist care and attention that they need regardless of where they're located. From neonatal repatriation to specialist care services, Lia's Wings has grown significantly since its humble beginnings as a volunteer-led organization.
This one hits close to home for Golley Slater, as last year they flew Growth Director, Bex Berry, and her prematurely born son 270 miles back home to reunite with their family and receive care.
Golley Slater's 'Golley's Goodwill' initiative runs every December and early January. Rather than a traditional Christmas card, Golley Slater encourages their network to vote for their favourite charity, and whoever wins partners with Golley Slater to increase awareness, raise support, and benefit from Golley Slater's expertise.
