Northlich Launches New Long John Silver’s Micro Site for Healthy Menu

Palm trees sway and waves crash the shore as you’re seated at a quaint seaside tiki hut restaurant table. That’s the serene yet engaging backdrop of the new micro site www.freshsidegrille.com, designed by Northlich for Long John Silver’s new premium seafood menu, Freshside Grille.

Freshsidegrille.com is part of an integrated campaign created by Northlich, including in-market TV spots, digital and public relations. The site features a virtual Freshside Grille menu similar to the one found in stores, as well as an interactive game co-designed by Northlich and Yum! Brands.

“We really wanted to translate the fresh premium product experience into a premium web experience,” said Jeffrey Warman, Executive Creative Director of Northlich. “Between the colorful backdrop and the highly realistic imagery, we’ve successfully created a place for consumers to feel good about Long John Silver’s seafood.”

The TV campaign is a continuation of the popular “tidal wave” campaign, launched in early 2008 by Northlich, which has been instrumental in driving traffic and sales to Long John Silver’s restaurants. The 15-second spots currently air in key markets.

Northlich is Long John Silver’s agency of record for creative work since 2007.
