Concept:
“Curiosity kills the cat.” Originally the phrase means that a cat could get itself killed due to over active curiosity. But in this case, this phrase was used to show that abandoning domestic cats due to an owner’s dwindling curiosity or interest could actually kill the cat! The body copy was written in a mystery novel-like style to imply that humans are the hidden murderers to blame. It also called for participation in the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) Program as well as adoptions and donations to help stray cats.
