Diálogo Publicidad - Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Federal Administration of Public Revenue AFIP is among the clients of Agencia Diálogo Publicidad. This entity controls and collects public revenues from the Argentine tax payers.

Given the unceasing increase in the amount of cellular telephone lines, and the use of the SMS service by more and more users, the AFIP has decided to upgrade and create a new service for the different sectors of the community.

With this service you will be able to make appointments and file applications by sending the word AFIP through a text message and dialing 2347 on your cell phone. This way citizens and taxpayers will obtain an immediate response in a quick and simple fashion.

To communicate this new service, Diálogo Publicidad created a multimedia campaign called “Fitness Center” composed of a TV commercial, a radio spot, advertising signs and Internet banners.

Billboard

Humor was used to communicate the news inviting the community to “Train” with the clear allusion of the need to “exercise the thumb” to send text messages. This exaggeration in the TV commercial strengthens the mechanism used for this new service provided by the AFIP. In direct and simple language the announcer explains the simplicity of the service and encourages its use.
