Vakifbank’s new tv-spot created by Fikir Merkezi began airing on national TV channels in early July. In the spot, Vakifbank, which is known as a long established and trustworthy bank, is undergoing a change. The old school and classical looking bank turns in to an energetic brand new bank, not only its logo and bank offices, but also it's concept of banking. Vakifbank is retooling their entire concept with this commercial. Transcribed music from West Side Story plays in the background. The transformation begins when a young man enters the bank office followed by Vakifbank employees (portrayed by pro ballet dancers). They change the old bank to a new one as they dance. The spot ends with an explosion of the new yellow logo on the outside wall of the bank office.  For an old school bank like Vakifbank which has been operating with the same corporate image for 58 years, it's a pretty big change which is conveyed in a very entertaining and impressive way.
