University of Kentucky HealthCare Selects Diccicco Battista Communications as Agency-of-Record

Diccicco Battista Communications was recently selected as the agency-of-record for the University of Kentucky HealthCare. The Pennsylvania-based agency participated in a thorough request-for-proposal process with 27 other agencies.  Diccicco Battista was selected based on a multitude of criteria, with its collaborative approach towards both client work and internal team communications topping the list.

UK HealthCare has engaged Diccicco Battista Communications in its efforts to be a health information resource for the regional community. The agency will launch an integrated branding effort with paid media support for UK HealthCare in 2010.

“The opportunity to support UK HealthCare as they reach towards their goal of leading the advancement of medicine and patient care is truly an honor,” said Mike Diccicco, president of Diccicco Battista Communications.  “The most successful client-agency relationships in our 40+ years experience were rooted with strong, open communications.  Throughout all of our interactions with UK HealthCare, it is clear they share this same business philosophy – one of many reasons why I personally am looking forward to a successful 2010.”

UK HealthCare includes all UK hospitals and clinics and has over 80 specialized clinics, 143 outreach programs, and a team of 6,000 physicians, nurses, pharmacists and health care workers -- all dedicated to patient health.
