Changes in Incognito Oy’s ownership

The Finnish marketing communications group, Zeeland Society Oy, has acquired the majority of shares of the advertising agency, Incognito Oy. Incognito continues its activities as an independent daughter company of Zeeland Group.
 
The arrangement is part of Zeeland’s objectives to become one of the biggest communication groups in Finland by acquisitions and organic growth. It also offers a solution in the need for a generation change in Incognito’s management.
 
Zeeland Group now owns 72.3% of the shares of Incognito. The founders of Incognito, Pirjo von Hertzen, Pekka Päivinen and Keijo Vuorinen, as well as Timo Muhonen and Esa Ojala, will continue in their present positions until the end of 2009. Mr. Muhonen and Ojala will stay on as shareholders and Ms. von Hertzen will return as a brand consultant as soon as the new CEO for Incognito is recruited later this year.
 
The advertising agency, Incognito Oy, founded in 1990, is located in Helsinki, Finland. It is known for its work in creating corporate identities and planning of B2B marketing communications.
