Introducing the “new and improved” digital ICOM GLOBE…
Yes, THE GLOBE has been digital for nearly a decade but we were basically delivering a "print" version of the newsletter digitally. Not any more.
As our network grew and contributions increased the old format became unwieldy and didn't allow us to communicate all that our members were doing. We needed something more flexible, easier to distribute and quicker to read.
Our designer/editor, DeAnna Marcotte, went to work. And here it is. Now you'll get the headline the first one paragraph of an article on the "front page". You can just read that or, to learn more, you can click on "Read more" and get the whole story. And, you can also see PowerPoint presentations, case histories, radio & television commercials, speeches, publicity, etc. as well as stories about what's going on in member agencies. Click on the links in this issue to see what this new format can do.
We hope the new GLOBE will encourage more readership and reporting.
Please give us your feedback. gb

I'd like to point out an issue with information requests among ICOM

members. Our partner agency in Singapore, AGI, has recently asked Taiwan to help on certain project. However, they sent an email directly to us and it was blocked by SpamX.

Caribbean's premier destination, |
|
| surpassing even the Bahamas and Puerto Rico.
The old perception of Cancun as a spring-break destination is no longer relevant, as the 90,000 students who once came to vacation have now diminished to barely 9,000.

Numbers are increasingly important in marketing. Left-brain marketing is becoming a rallying cry among many marketers. In this environment, what role should intuition play? Are intuitive ideas, especially from agencies, becoming irrelevant?
This whitepaper offers some thoughts on effectively balancing numbers and intuition.
