Cramer-Krasselt - Chicago, Illinois

Timed to the peak summer travel period, Direct General is launching a new campaign – “We’ll Do Right By You” - to demonstrate how they are the right insurer in these tough times, particularly for a rapidly growing group who may otherwise be forgoing insurance or unable to get it from other insurers. The first effort via Cramer-Krasselt/New York includes TV, print, out-of-home and public relations. Three :30 testimonial-style ads – “Bills,” “Jacked Up” and “New Job” – feature customers discussing how Direct General differs from standard insurance providers like Allstate, Geico and Nationwide.

Corona Extra’s iconic marketing campaign via longstanding agency of record C-K/Chicago continues to receive attention and creative accolades from the advertising industry. 2008 out-of-home efforts “Nada” and “Love Triangle” were recently named Finalists in the prestigious OBIE Awards, outdoor advertising’s greatest honor. And, C-K/Phoenix’s out-of-home effort for Crystal Springs, “Witch,” was also a Finalist. To view a full list of this year’s winners, visit http://www.aef.com/exhibits/awards/obie_awards/2008/01.

Cramer-Krasselt Public Relations/Chicago has been tapped to help the American Cancer Society expand awareness of their Charity Runner Program, an inspiring movement enabling athletes to dedicate their training and participation in marathons, triathlons, cycling races and other endurance events to end cancer. C-K PR will be leveraging social media efforts such as Facebook, Twitter, a social media news release with videos, links and images about the program, as well as outreach to key running and fundraising bloggers through July.
