Publinter recently added a new client, “El Primer Banco de los Trabajadores (PBT)” (The First Bank of the Workers). Created in 1991, the PBT was the first bank formed specially for the working class as well as the micro, small and medium businesses.
This year represents a big change for the PBT, given that for the first time since their creation, and with an expanding vision, they will delve into advertising themselves with the help of one of Publinter’s creative teams.
For the past few years, the financial sector in El Salvador has been challenged by mergers and acquisitions from major global banks like HSBC, Citi Group, Scotiabank and Bancolombia. This has created an opportunity for small local banks that offer faster credit approvals among other advantages to compete against larger banks.
