Cramer-Krasselt/Chicago and AirTran Airways drew buzz and ideas during the May announcement that AirTran would be the first airline with Wi-Fi on every flight. At the heart of the integrated teaser and launch campaign was www.everyflight.com where people could make suggestions for what they wanted on flights, vote “boo!” or “yah!” on previous submissions and view interactive charts and graphs. More than 230,000 votes were cast and 30,000+ suggestions were made ranging from “mimes” to “bunk beds” to “Clint Eastwood movies.”
 

C-K explores our evolving lexicon in its 2nd annual Cultural Dictionary. The last year has offered a wealth of content to choose from with a historic election and reeling economy. C-K’s Brand Planning team evaluated the year in categories such as Politics and Social Networking, identified significant trends, and compiled relevant terms from magazines, blogs and conversations.  
 
Corona and C-K are dialing up the attitude this summer, reprising iconic fan favorites “Lagoon” and “Kite” and increasing its media investment. On the heels of Cinco de Mayo, the brand has been ramping up spending during high-profile network and cable programming and sporting occasions such as the NBA and NHL Finals and Major League Baseball.
 
C-K took home two prestigious Effie Awards honoring effective advertising this month: A Silver Effie for Evinrude’s “Spend More Time on the Water” and a Bronze Effie for TV Guide’s “Countdown” (www.effie.org). The agency was also honored as Heinz’s “Partner of the Year” from thousands of global companies they work with each year.
