We recently celebrated a smashing success for healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith when a direct mail package we created for them delivered incredible results.
Designed to increase leads for B. E. Smith’s interim leadership services, the package included a personalized letter from the CEO and a white paper about interim leadership (ghostwritten by BKV under the CEO’s byline). Distributed to hospital C-suite executives and other key healthcare decision makers, the letter urged the recipient to contact B. E. Smith to learn how they can use interim leadership to turn an executive vacancy into a long-term advantage. To add further impact, the envelope address, letter signature and a yellow sticky note appeared to be hand-lettered in blue ballpoint pengiving the package an authentic feel that boosted response.
This package was part of an overall marketing program that delivered an online lead increase of more than 200 percent month over month, as well as a 138 percent increase in call volume month over month. In the words of B. E. Smith’s CEO, “we hit a real homerun with this one!”
