Opinion Leader finds a way to face crisis

Crisis. All over the world we all have to face it. It’s affecting everyone including communication companies and agencies.

New business efforts, promotional tools, nothing seems to work except to find new less expensive media channels.

Opinion Leader is proposing new media instruments to communicate that are high performance, more interactive and less expensive..

We’ve recently started promoting Podcasts as a way for clients to communicate their brands, products and corporate image, allowing them to make an international, wide spread and highly interactive communication with consumers.

Podcasts are audio and/or video broadcasts that are downloadable for free from the Internet on computers, notebooks, iPods and iPhones. Web content becomes “transportable” which means that our communications will reach the people who represent our target audience just when they want it.

Podcasts are able to reach the audience that most often turns from traditional media and they can create virtual communities formed by people that share the same passion, allowing companies to focus their communication on a precise and well-defined target.

Podcasts are very popular in the United States as a communication tool but in Italy and the rest of Europe the percentage of usage is still low. This makes Opinion Leader the first agency to use it as a proper media and promote its value.

Opinion Leader manages not only the content, but also the technological maintenance and features in cooperation with Mama Records, the associated audio/video production company.

We exploit technology to optimize costs guaranteeing high performing communication in terms of contacts and brand awareness: that is the right response to crisis!

Clients are beginning to believe in this new medium and seem to be enthusiastic about joining us in this new adventure.  They also want to be among the first to use Podcasts and this has given us some new work and new projects to deliver.
