DIALLA Communications - Kiev, Ukraine
In September, DIALLA Communications organized a ceremonial opening of the VEKA Ukraine factory. VEKA Ukraine is a branch of the German enterprise VEKA AG, a manufacturer of PVC profile systems for windows and doors.
Over 300 guests were present during the opening ceremony, including the press, representatives from business and trade publications, local government and corporate representatives, and regional dealers. A well-balanced ambience created a professional, yet very relaxed atmosphere which allowed guests to exchange questions and information comfortably.

The event was staged in several phases beginning with a press-conference. Among the speakers were Henry Laumann, the founder and owner of VEKA AG, Head of Supervising Council of VEKA AG; Andreas Hartleif, the head of the council of VEKA AG; Josef Leo Beckhoff, Chief Executive Director of VEKA Ukraine Ltdv.; Alexander Stepanenko, Chief Commercial Director of VEKA Ukraine Ltd. After the press-conference, all guests were invited to an official plant opening ceremony where they had an opportunity to tour the newly opened production site

After the official part ended, an entertainment program began: banquet and refreshments, performances of German ethnic dancers, and a Ukrainian band performing with the star of the evening famous Ukrainian artist Alyona Vinnitskaya. To conclude the event, a huge cake and a fireworks show was presented.
