Inhouse ‘The River’ website sweeps awards

Challenge: Create a world class online presence as part of an integrated, holistic campaign for The River, the flagship luxury waterfront condominium project of leading Thai real estate developer Raimon Land PLC.

Inhouse Solution: The Inhouse digital design team pulled together a raft of cutting-edge techniques combined with stylish and sophisticated design in a website that continues to garner accolades. The latest is the prestigious “Best Developer Website Thailand’’ award for theriverbangkok.com bestowed at the CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards 2008 (the site also won the Thai Property Awards 2007 Best Website Award, among other honors).

Some of the “bells and whistles’’ on the site include a virtual tour that employs the latest computer generated image technology combined with real photography and fish-eye lens techniques to create a truly breathtaking interactive experience, as well as interactive floor plans, flythroughs and spectacular view simulations.

Raimon Land CEO Nigel Cornick said the award recognizes the site’s innovations in creativity, usability, functionality and design, values also reflected in the development itself. “The River’s domain demonstrates the lengths to which Raimon Land will go to meet the needs of ever more demanding visitors while raising the bar of high quality creative standards,’’ Mr. Cornick said. Inhouse CEO and ICOM Asia Pacific Regional Director George Romanyk added: “The site proved particularly effective in attracting foreign buyers, and as a pre-launch sales tool helped generate THB 2 billion in bookings within three days. Sales have now surpassed the THB 7 billion mark, and we’re very proud of the part the website, and all the other elements of our branding campaign for The River, have played in its success.’’
