SKM Group just launched a major, fully integrated campaign for a great cause

“81 Tackles Hunger” benefits the Food Bank of Western New York. It features Terrell Owens, a national sports celebrity, and a big idea: if everyone gives 81 cents, and every business donates 81 dollars, the Food Bank can provide nearly 700,000 meals a month for one year (if we all do a little, we can help a lot).

Amazingly, we had our initial meeting with the Food Bank on June 25th! So in less than 10 weeks, we signed a national celebrity, put together national-quality television, interactive, print, outdoor, radio, direct mail to consumers and businesses, a website to collect donations, a public relations effort and a major press conference. Wow – that’s a mouthful.

Just wanted to share this with you. It’s great work, but more importantly, for the best possible cause...helping others. We’re proud of it and hope the campaign is a smashing success.
