SKM Group - Buffalo, New York
I am pleased to announce that I have hired Stephen Jaworowski to be SKM Group’s president.
After almost 23 years of leading the SKM Group, I have hired Steve to work with my existing leadership team to manage the daily activities of the agency. I will remain the sole owner and Chief Executive Officer and will continue to be involved at a senior level with our clients. My primary purpose in taking this step is to allow me to focus on bringing new and improved services and expertise to our clients.
Steve brings a wealth of marketing and management expertise to the table. He began his career at E. James White Company, an advertising agency in Washington, DC. During his time there he managed a large team of personnel supporting the Amtrak account. In 1995, he joined AOL as Manager of Marketing and Advertising Sales, moved on to be Director of Partner Marketing and then Director of Product Marketing.
In 2001, AOL asked him to take a temporary assignment in Toronto to establish a Partner Marketing group in Canada. While he was there, AOL was sold to Time Warner. He was soon recruited to join the cable business where he became the General Manager of its Terre Haute, Indiana operation. His Time Warner career then took him to Binghamton, NY as Division Vice President, Marketing and Sales and then to Buffalo in 2006 where he was tapped to help them manage the challenges involved in taking over the Adelphia business.
I have enjoyed getting to know Steve over the last several years as a client of the SKM Group. He is a well-respected member of the community and a very talented marketer.
I know that you will be pleased with the impact Steve will have on the work we do together. He will be planning a time to introduce himself to you in the near future.
The rest of our leadership team will continue in their current roles, reporting to Steve.
